Resize Images With Picnik

Upload an image to Picnik

Go to Picnik Website
Right click the link above and choose "open in new tab" or "open in new window". That way, this page will remain available for you to refer to.

1. Step 1: Click the "Upload a Photo" button.
   
2. Step 2: In the window that pops up, browse through your computer until you find the image you want to resize and open it.
3. Step 3: You will come to a new window that contains your image, with several options lined up along the top.
4. Step 4: Click the Resize option which is fourth from the left.
   
5. Step 5: Following the instructions on screen, enter the desired width or height in pixels. (Picnik will automatically ensure that the image stays in proportion, so you only need to enter one of these figures.)
6. Step 6: Otherwise you can enter a percentage amount to reduce the image by.
7. Step 7: When satisfied, click "Save and Share" which is one of the menu items along the top.
   
8. Step 8: Save the file to your computer.

Special Notes

• Try to avoid making images larger, as this will always reduce the quality of the image. It's best to start with the largest version available and resize it down from there.
