Security of the Eduka Virtual Office (eVO)

Once you have assembled all of your company's information so that it can be easily accessed by your staff from anywhere in the world, you will obviously be concerned about security! Below we have outlined the technical side of the solution, to put ease your mind about the security of your information.

The eVO application has been designed to work standalone on a single web server with MSSQL Express, but can scale up for installation on a tiered and clustered web/database server array. eVO consists of a backend database using Microsoft SQL Server and a web based system utilising the latest generation of Microsoft .NET technology as well as:

• Microsoft Windows Server 2003
• Web Server:IIS 6.0
• Client: IE 5.5+
• Database:MS SQL 2000
• .NET 2.0 Framework
• Microsoft Active Directory and SharePoint Integration if required
• XML datasets enable connection to legacy systems

We provide for maximum security, redundancy and stability in case of hardware failure or external compromise, and we recommend the use of 128-bit Security for communication to the web server and the data is stored warehoused at our co-location facility in Wellington Street in Perth.
