Separate layouts
Adapting to the interface and learning to use all of the edukaCMS features is a swift and easy process.
The edukaCMS content entry area has a very similar appearance to Microsoft Word, with buttons and functions that most users will be familiar with.
A code converter allows you to paste documents from Microsoft Word into the EdukaCMS without fear of losing your formatting and at the same time making sure that the page will be quick to load.
On average it takes about 15 to 30 minutes for a new user of the system to learn how to manage content on their website.

Separation of Design and Content
Due to the flexible nature of the Eduka CMS your website design is not held to ransom by limitations of the web.
The look and feel of your website is kept completely separate from your content, allowing us to change the design of your website in a matter of moments and you to maintain the content without fear of damaging the look and feel.
Add new layouts
Style sheets control your fonts, colours and the positioning of items throughout your website to ensure that they remain consistent and easy to change. Eduka can either create a customised design to integrate into the Eduka CMS, or you may choose to utilise one of the "templates" that we have already developed.
Different clients have different requirements for how their data is entered, some prefer a total free text area others want many fields and lots of red tape. Just as a small store is different from a Government department, the Eduka CMS accommodates all different aspects of content management for the web.

Structured Workflow
Review process
Ensuring that the correct information is published to your website is easy with an industry standard workflow. Using four different roles, you can ensure that the wrong content is never published to the site by mistake.
- Moderator - Checks changes to the site before publishing them
- Maintainer - Makes changes to the website
- User Administrator - Controls the roles and permissions within the Eduka CMS
- Super Administrator - Has access to the settings, templates and other restricted areas within the edukaCMS (this will usually be your vendor)
Again, the value of the EdukaCMS is its flexibility, as user roles and permissions can be created along with the workflow and maintained by your own staff. Simply switching off the review process makes the system as useful to a small business as it would to a large corporate or government department.

Security
Secure login
With encrypted logins and a strong workflow, the Eduka CMS is completely secure, and it also has an automated archival system that copies every change with a date and time stamp.
This allows you to track the site updates, retrieve a previous version of a page if required, and access a current back-up of the active site.
Flexibility in the security is also given to the client, as Secure pages can be used to manage the site and even provide NT (Server-Side) authentication.

After we put your solution in place, we are available by phone, email, or fax, and our staff are trained to answer any query regarding the system you may have.
For the first few months your complementary training session will be supplemented with on-call support, so that we can talk you through any changes if you need help getting started.
