Fleet Cycles has really taken off in the last year, with new stores opening, their range increasing and more and more people waking up to the great service that Fleet offers.

This meant that the staff at Fleet were flat out in their stores and just didn't have the time to dedicate to working out what they wanted to achieve with their website - but they did know that they desperately needed a site to help field the enquiries they were getting and to provide information to the huge number of customers who wanted it.

So, Fleet handed everything over to us.

delivering the solution

• We re-designed and built the website on our edukaCMS
• We brainstormed a sitemap together and made recommendations to Fleet for the pages, site structure and content we felt should go onto the site
• We came up with a plan that would allow Fleet to grow the site over time, as they got more information together
• We advised them on ways they could use their site to attract customers, field the many queries they were getting by phone and show off their range of products to potential customers
• We used the information Fleet provided us to write the copy for the website, rewording and rephrasing things where necessary and sourcing some of the information ourselves

Fleet's site is continually growing each time someone sends us an idea or something to add. Fleet could have inserted all their content themselves, built the website and formatted all the images, but given how busy the staff were it was much easier for Fleet to handball the work over to us and let us take care of everything.

• The edukaCMS has the capacity to not only manage the Fleet Cycles website, but also to evolve over time into a system that can help manage internal business processes of the company.
• From the day the site went live, Fleet started getting at least one enquiry every day, with enquiries on the increase as search engine ranking improves and the site is updated with more information.
• The site gives the busy Fleet staff an easy reference point for customers calling up with questions, and with more and more enquiries coming through the site instead of over the phone, the team at Fleet  can work more efficiently, getting back to queries within 8 hours and still managing to give their in-store customers the attention they need.
