How to update your computer to adjust to daylight savings automatically
The West Australian government agreed to trial daylight savings in the state for a 3 year period.

Microsoft has provided an update that allows your computer to automatically adjust to the daylight savings time. To update your computer click on this link (will open in a new window)
You will see a page like the picture below, chances are you are using an i386 based computer - so download the Windows-KB928939-i386-ENU.msi if you are unsure ask your systems admin for help.

Once you have clicked on the Download button click on Run on the File Download - Security Warning window and it will install the update to your computer.

After it is installed double click the time on the task bar or in control panel double click date/time. Click on the time zone tab and select the option at the bottom: Automatically adjust clock for daylight savings changes. Hit Apply/Ok and you are done!
