Eduka is proud to announce our support of Volunteering WA - Western Australia's premier volunteering organisation. We have supported VWA through re-developing their website inline with their new branding and also completing the development of an online volunteering management system for Volunteering WA.
Viktor Online
Viktor Online was originally written as an access database which VWA soon realised was becoming redundant.
Eduka's consulting team analysed the current system and recommended a move to a web based system that would eventually have a wider reach than the Access based system.
Eduka assembled a web development team that consisted of ASP.NET C# developers, SQL Database admins and a project manager that delivered and exceeded VWA's expectations.
The extensive system maintains: volunteering agencies, volunteering positions and volunteers. It has all details from hourly availability to insurances and referral management. The system exposes part of the database using webservices and this means that it allows for other websites to query on positions available data or even drive an entire site.
Volunteering WA website
Volunteering WA recently underwent a re-branding. We designed and built a new website on the EdukaCMS inline with their new logo.
The Eduka web design team worked with VWA's external marketing agency to come up with a design for the site that impressed all! The Eduka team strategised and worked out how to cater for the different audiences likely to visit the site and created the necessary information buckets on the home page that made navigation of content a breeze.
As with all Eduka websites the site caters for the disabled and is fully standards compliant.
The website integrates with Viktor Online. Potential volunteers can search for positions offered.
