Ashul Shah
Managing Director
Ashul was educated at the University of Warwick, Coventry, UK studying Computer Systems Engineering, and has over 17 years experience in IT in UK, Africa and Australia.
He previously worked as African Regional Manager for an Insurance Software company, Sirius, and later for USAID as a business process automation expert. Notably, Ashul had been responsible for introducing the viability of the Internet for collaboration and communication resulting in cost savings and progressing development of an African NGO - Centre for African Family Studies in Nairobi and Lome.
Ashul migrated to Australia in 1998 and worked as a Microsoft Exchange specialist for what is now Volante Systems prior to founding Eduka in 2000.
Ashul's industry qualifications include certification with Microsoft, Rational, SCO, and Novell.
Nicolas Meyer
Associate Director
Our PMSI representative and resident business intelligence expert, Nicolas is involved in business development, as well as strategic planning and overall business improvement.
Originally from Colorado in the USA, he studied Business Administration at the University of Colorado, Boulder. After completing his degree he moved to Spain, then Paris and then to London. Along the way he established a translation business, worked for an oil company and a car rental company, and finally ended up in the management consultancy firm, Practical Management Solutions & Insights (PMSI) in London.
During his time at PMSI, he has been involved in over thirty industries, as well as managing the development of a graphical analysis software and an advertising and promotional management tool for a global wine and spirits company.
Deborah Wong
Lead Creative and Web Designer
Deborah completed a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Television from Curtin University before discovering a passion for the web.
She fulfilled her passion by completing a Diploma in Multimedia where she developed her skills in web design and development. In 2005 she graduated top of her class and soon after joined the Eduka team.
Deborah is responsible for the design and development of websites with a mind for standards compliance and cross-browser compatibility. She also leads the web standards team at Eduka, and has been instrumental in the introduction of industry standards in the front end interfaces of our core products.
Kimberely Heitman
Legal Advisor
Kim consults in the field of Internet governance, on-line legal issues and intellectual property, ensuring that we always provide our clients with up-to-date information.
Kim studied Law at the University of Western Australia and was admitted to practice in 1982. Kim has served on the boards of a number of public companies and incorporated associations.
Since the 1990s, Kim has been active in Internet associations including the Internet Community Hour, Electronic Frontiers Australia and the WA Internet Association and served on the boards of public companies iiNet Limited, Adultshop.com, Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman Limited and Australian Domain Administration Limited.
